The young Bulgarian boxers excelled at the international tournament for young boxers in the 17-18 years range in the city Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The Bulgarians, lead by the trainers Dimitar Pehlivanov and Vasil Todorov, won six medals – two golden, two silver and two bronze.

Mitko Metodiev (up to 48 kg.) and Safet Metodiev (up to 54 kg.) became champions in their respective categories.
