Veselin Topalov reaches the finals

Veselin Topalov defeated the American chess master Gata Kamsky with 4,5:2,5 points in the chess game between the contenders for the title of the World Chess Champion. Veselin Topalov will face Viswanathan Anand from India, trying to take the prestigious title from him.

In today’s seventh game, the chess master Veselin Topalov applied French defense and with the white figures made his opponent admit defeat on the 45th round.

The closing game between the contenders for the World Chess Champion title will take place tomorrow at 14:00 in hall 6 of the National palace of culture.
