TopolГЎnek defended Bulgaria and Slovakia in front of the EP

The Czech prime minister Mirek TopolГЎnek defended the intentions of Slovakia and Bulgaria to restart their nuclear reactors in the power plants “Iaslovske Bohunitse” and “Kozlodui”.

At the assembly of the European parliament in Strassburg, TopolГЎnek said that Europe should aim to diversify it’s energy resources, including nuclear power energy and the investment in new technologies.

“Face to face with the energy crisis, we must broaden the scope of our ways to gather energy and our sources should work towards safe use of nuclear power,” explained the Czech prime minister.
