Submitted on Monday, 3 August 2009No Comment

“Technomash BIG” AD began the construction of a wind farm with capacity of 12.6 MW in the village Kardam, the municipality of General Toshevo. The Swiss stockholder union Stream Invest Holding assigned the task to one of the biggest industrial groups in Bulgaria, the aforementioned Technomash BIG.

The six wind turbines, each of them 2.1 MW, were produced by Suzlon Wind Energy – the fifth biggest company for production of wind turbine generators in the world.

Mr. Erik Pedersen, chief executive of the European and Latin American branch of Suzlon Energy commented the commission for this project: “This is an important step forward in our efforts to enter new, developing wind markets. Bulgaria offers perfect conditions for the wind park and suitable investment climate. We’re proud to be working with Technomash, leading industrial group in Bulgaria, and we’re confident that this is the start of a fruitful partnership.”
