The waterfalls near the village Ovchartsi attract numerous tourists

The seven waterfalls located near the village Ovchartsi in the region of Kiustendil are becoming an increasingly interesting spot for tourists.

The mayor of the village Krasimir Ranov said that the waterfalls, formed by the river Goritsa, attract an increasingly large number of tourists. The tallest waterfall is 37 metres.

A special ecological path leads to the natural wonder. Several places for picnic and rest dot the pleasant roads. The road signs are a great asset for visitors and they ensure that no one gets lost.

Ranov said that there were cases of 150-200 people arriving in the village, organized in tourist groups. This motivated the local officials to work on a project for the extension of the current path.
