The summer tourism season of 2009 in Bulgaria will bring an income of 3 billion leva

About 3 billion leva will be the income from tourism in Bulgaria for the summer season of 2009, announced the chairman of the Bulgarian hotel and restaurant owners association Blagoy Ragin in an interview for Nova TV.

Ragin suggests a decrease of the tourist flow of about 5-6% compared to the season of 2008.

The chairman of the association also expressed his opinion on what the priority infrastructure projects of Bulgaria should be.

“The road section between Sliven and Karnobat has to be taken care of as soon as possible, to shorten the trip to five hours. Finishing the southern part of the ring road around Sofia is also very important, because in 2010, the visa regime for Macedonians, Serbians and Montenegrins comes to an end.
