The Sofia airport provides aviation security, adequate to the European standards for safety.

This was the conclusion of the report of the European Commission. The chief executive of the department for “Aviation administration” Zahari Alexiev announced, that they gave positive marks for the measures that Bulgaria takes in the field of aviation safety.

The evaluation was made by officials two days ago. Their report proves that the airport fulfils their responsibilities for the provision of aviation safety.
