The reserve Madara attracts foreign tourists

An increase of foreign tourists is expected in the archeology reserve Madara.

Foreign groups arrive in the complex mostly during the holidays. Large part of the tourists arrive through the offers of tourism agencies.

The renovations of the large cliff are completed. The caves are also open for visitors.

“Since early 2009, more than 20 000 people passed through the central entrance, and perhaps just as much through the other roads”, commented the manager of the reserve Borislav Borisov.
