The only Bulgarian yacht port on Danube is under construction

A yacht port will be constructed in the village Baikal. It will be one of it’s kind on the Bulgarian part of Danube.

Baikal hopes to attract Romanian tourists with this project. The construction of the harbour will be followed by the construction of a new hotel.

There are signed treaties for the development of ecological and rural tourism between both countries, says the director of the Specialized administration department of Baikal Licho Tonchev.

Several park zones and tourist attractions will be constructed in the region of the Roman city Ulpia Eskus.

The region is also suitable for hunting and fishing activities, making it very attractive for tourists.
