Submitted on Wednesday, 31 December 2008No Comment

The operative talks for investment interests in “Kremikovtzi” continue, announced Tsvetan Bankov, assignee in bankruptcy in the metallurgy factory. Yesterday he had a meeting with the chief executive of CSN, that was appointed during the last visit of company representatives in Bulgaria.

After that, he met representatives of the syndicates and representatives of the administrative departments that will have a say on the fate of the metallurgy factory. Tsvetan Bankov also said that today he will meet representatives of the Ukraine “Smart group” corporation.

“The choice for investor isn’t made yet. This is a complex process, depending on many conditions and factors. We talk with both companies for the format in which we could work together, until the procedure for bankruptcy allows the execution of a recovery plan, which will transfer the ownership to a strategic investor”, said he.

Tsvetan Bankov added, that both offers – of CSN and “Smart group” – are very solid and realistic.
