The ballot in the internal-party elections was decisive for Dimitrov’s success over his opponent Rumen Hristov. He gathered 1600 votes more than his opponent. 7581 members of the party gave their votes; 4581 gave their vote for Martin Dimitrov, while 2977 – for Rumen Hristov.
