The history museum Fangoria attracts numerous tourists

Over 4500 tourists visited the history – ethnography complex “Proto-Bulgarian village Fangoria” in Varna for the first six months of 2008, revealed radio Focus-Varna.

Over the last few months, there has been an increasing number of tourists from Russia. Between thirty and forty tourists visit the village Fangoria each day.

The culture centers are in a difficult position at the moment, commented the director of the museum Pavel Pavlov. Most of the tour operators avoid taking tourists to cultural places, because they earn less money.

Most of the attractions in the Fangoria complex are the re-enactments of workshops, potteries, textile shops and blacksmiths, characteristic for 6th – 8th century.

The museum offers a rich evening program, featuring a dynamic horseback spectacle that re-enacts the proto-Bulgarian ritual for young warriors.
