The future of the Gulf of Burgas

A strategy for the development of the Gulf of Burgas was discussed by important figures from the region. The meeting was organized by the chairman of the Executive council of the Institute for regional strategies Pavel Marinov. Representatives of the Seaside administration, the Chamber of architects, the municipality administration, trade unions, ecologists, captains and infrastructure specialists attended the meeting.

The local governor Liubomir Panteleev noted two judicial obstacles for the development of the future plans of the Black Sea territories. According to him, since the political parties are reluctant to stop the project Burgas – Alexandroupolis, it’s mandatory to come up with ways to both protect the nature and profit from the project once it’s finished.
