The first Carrefour opens in Bulgaria

One of the chain market leaders in both Europe and the world Carrefour officially opened their first hypermarket in Bulgaria.

It is located inside the first shopping mall in Burgas – Burgas Plaza – and sprawls over 13 000 square meters, of which 8 300 sq. m. are purely market area.

The concept of the store follows the principle of “Everything under one roof”. Thus, it offers over 50 000 commodities – foods and other, according to Bulgarian taste and tradition. 3 500 Carrefour brand commodities in all categories are also for sale in the store. Carrefour provides work for 220 people.

The store is divided into specialized sections. Each offers a large variety of products that cover all sorts of price ranges.
