The camels of Kalmykia will reach Bankia on St. Todor’s day

The now famous in Europe camels from Kalmykia, that went through all kinds of adventures to reach Bulgaria, will make an appearance on the national race course in Bankia on St. Todor’s day.

This is the first show appearance for the desert animals ever since they arrived in Bankia. Their performance will be the surprise for the celebration in the race course in Bankia. The municipality of Bankia will celebrate St. Todor’s day with the traditional horse races.

For the fourth consecutive year, father Milko will face the thousands of people in Bankia and perform the service and blessings for health and success both for the people and the animals we take care of. The priest will also bless the biggest ritual round bread, baked in the shape of a horseshoe with a diameter of over 1 meter.
