The Bulgarian government creates a profitable investment environment

The new Bulgarian prime minister Boiko Borisov and his government have the will to change the investment climate in Bulgaria for the better and to turn the country into a favored business destination.

This was stated by Johnathan Goodman, president of the international company Dundee Precious Metals during the annual Gold Forum in Denver.

Currently Dundee works on two investment projects in Bulgaria – the extension of the ore mining business in Chelopech and the “Ada tepe” project for gold mining near Krumovgrad.

During the forum in Denver, Johnathan Goodman announced that the government, especially the Ministry of environment and waters, took action to aid the investment projects of the company in Bulgaria. This will lead to significant indirect benefits for the country’s economy, added he.

Goodman said that the minister of environment and waters Nona Karadjova and the vice-minister Evdokia Maneva demonstrated their will to support the steady development of business without disregard of nature on their very first day in the Ministry.

This is a very positive direction of development and a good sign for all investors in Bulgaria, including our company, noted Goodman.
