In the case of worsening economical situation and in the context of the upcoming elections campaign KRIB suggested several governmental measures. The main one suggests that the political forces should sign a treaty that obliges them to keep the current currency laws and the currency board after the elections and up to the day when Bulgaria joins the European currency zone.

The management of KRIB decided to begin the preparations of a document for the treaty and to start negotiations with political parties.

KRIB also demands a protecting agreement with the Ministry of finance and the starting of a procedure to update the national budget.
