“The black list” of Euro funds swindlers works

The system for early warning for frauds in the use of European programs already functions, but it’s meant only for the use of government employees, announced the vice minister of Euro funds Meglena Plugchieva during an investment forum in Sofia.

Last summer, Brussels demanded for the creation of a “black list” of firms that have been proven to make frauds with European money. The goal is to warn the establishments responsible for European programs before any further fraud or fraud attempts have been made.

Meglena Plugchieva also said, that the government works on speeding up the schedules for applying and approval of projects under the program for development of rural regions. The changes will be made by March 15th.
