Stoilov announced the Bulgarian team for the match with Latvia

Two footballers from Levski, Litex and CSKA from the Bulgarian championship were chosen by the coach of the national team Stanimir Stoilov for the upcoming match with Latvia on August 12th. The game will take place on the national stadium “Vasil Levski”.

These players are: Jivko Milanov and Georgi Sarmov from the champions Levski; Ivelin Popov and Plamen Nikolov from the bearers of the Cup of Bulgaria, Litex. Surprisingly, the right back of CSKA Pavel Videnov was called to replace the injured Stilian Petrov. The other player of the “army” team who was chosen by the coach was Kiril Kotev. Initially, Stoilov intended to include Vlado Gadjev in the group, but the half from the blue team was injured and replaced by his teammate Sarmov.
