Stanishev: Hotels can’t be constructed in the yards of our universities

The control over the district “Studentski grad” (Student’s city) must be tightened, said the Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev on the topic of the student’s protest for the murder of the 20-year-old Stoyan Baltov on December 5th.

“During the last few years, the freedom is perceived as lawlessness”, said Stanishev and added that the government plans to put to effect a law that guarantees the public property and that will put a stop to the restitutional demands to university buildings.

“We can’t have hotels, restaurants and bars in the yards of universities”, said Stanishev and promised to propose the law to the parliament as soon as possible.
