Rumen Petkov meets Ecclestone to discuss Grand Prix Bulgaria

Bulgaria, represented by the head of the Organization committee for Grand Prix Rumen Petkov, was officially invited for a meeting with the president of the Formula One Administration Bernie Ecclestone to negotiate the addition of a Bulgarian circuit to the championship.

The meeting will take place on the NГјrburgring circuit during Grand Prix Germany (July 10th – 12th). The two will discuss the details of the deal for a circuit in Bulgaria.

The requirements for the Bulgarian circuit have already been sent to the Bulgarian organization committee. If the committee meets these requirements, the future Bulgarian circuit will host Formula One races between 2011 – 2015, with the possibility of an extension until 2020.
