“Refugees” by Neshka Robeva caused a furore at Brussels

The megaspectacle “Refugees” by the ensemble “National art” (the dancing group of Neshka Robeva) caused a furore with it’s exceptional performance in the A5G3 hall of the European parliament in Brussels, announced the chancellery of the bulgarian eurodeputee Kristian Vigenin.

Over 200 spectators aplauded our dancers. Presenting the megaspectacle “Refugees” in the European parliament was the initiative of the member of parliament-president of the Party of the european socialists Kristian Vigenin.

The vice-premier Meglena Plugchieva and the bulgarian ambassador in EU Boiko Kocev were present at the event.

“The presentation of the spectacle “Refugees” of the ensemble under the leadership of Neshka Robeva fits perfectly inside the EU priorities – in the year of the multicultural dialogue and work on the immigration laws,” said the bulgarian eurodeputee Kristian Vigenin before the opening of the spectacle.

“I am happy to be able to assist the presentation of a spectacle, in which the music and the dance say a lot more than all our resolutions, declarations and lengthy speeches,” added the bulgarian deputee.

His initiative lead to the filled hall members of the bulgarian professional community in Brussels and their colleagues from all over Europe, who were stunned by the talent of bulgarian dancers.

“The spectacle “Refugees” brings a message of hope. “Refugees” tells the story of bulgarians, jews, turks, serbs, armenians – with their national traits, histories and lives. The kinds that we know. The goal of the spectacle is not to create conflicts – on the contrary, to show what connects us all, that being striving for a better life,” said Neshka Robeva in front of the audience and thanked Vigenin for the possiblity to present the bulgarian spectacle in front of the multinational audience in Brussels.
