Radeva: The international financial crisis already affects Bulgarian economics

“The international financial crisis already affects Bulgarian economics”, said Nina Radeva – vice-minister of economics and energetics at the International forum “Creativity and innovation in the sphere of eurofunds for local development”.

According to Radeva, that lead to the increased significance of the financial resource that comes to Bulgaria by the structural funds. Radeva said, that in the crisis environment grows the role of alternative financing sources such as operative programs, the national strategic reference plan and the budget that is supported by EU funds.

In the current situation, the small and average businesses are the most vulnerable, because many of them depend on the value of the credit resource. This is especially true to the ones that have just begun. The ambassador of Spain Fernando Arias stressed on the importance of the eurofunds for the development of Spain and said that Spain had the same doubts as Bulgaria before entering the EU.
