The 18 year old Polina Blazheva is the new Queen Rose 2009. Each year in Kazanlak there is a competition for the most beautiful graduate.

The competition precedes the procession for the Day of the Rose, an annual event in Kazanlak.

Polina Blazheva was chosen among 20 candidates for the title “Queen Rose”. A jury of eight people evaluated the beauties. It was lead by the honorary citizen of the city of roses – professor Gencho Nachev.

The biggest passion of the Queen Rose 2009 are sport dances. She is a professional dancer. Polina wants to study in the Business academy in Svishtov, dreaming to one day assume a leading role in the academy.
