Pictures of the rocks of Belogradchik go to the European parliament

86 photos of the unique rock formations of Belogradchik have been sent to Strassbourg, announced the mayor Emil Tsankov. They will be arranged in the building of the European parliament in Strassbourg during the day of open doors, which is May 3rd. This way, most of the visitors will see the natural phenomenon, which is currently competing with other natural wonders for a spot in the seven new wonders of the world. The goal of the photographs is to encourage people to vote for the Bulgarian nomination.

The authors of the photographs are the journalists Irena Danailova from BTA and Robert Nikolaev, editor and publisher of the newspaper “Belogradchik”. The project for the exhibition is initiated and executed with the assistance of the Bulgarian EU member of parliament Marusya Liubcheva.
