The company Petrol announced on a press conference today that they will use the MobileTel network for their own virtual mobile network operator.

Last friday the fuel distributer announced the countdown for their mobile service, aptly titled Petrol Mobile. Their network will cover the entire country.

The announced service is a prepaid package for voice transfer (calls) and short messages (SMS), without additional functions like MMS, internet access, etc.

The company aims at consumers with lower income like university students and pensioners.
