New Social support centre opened today

The new Social support centre ‘St. Sofia’ was opened today at 11:00a.m. by the Social and Labour Minister Emilia Maslarova. It was created by a project, financed through the EU Phare programme.

Social workers, a kinezitherapist, a psychologist and a pedagogist are included in its staff.

The social workers will support young mothers at risk and their babies. Their final goal is to keep small children under 3 years in their own families, if possible.
