Minister Mutafchiev opened modernized railway stations

The minister of transport Petar Mutafchiev opened the modernized railway stations in Kaloyanovo and Graf Ignatievo, announced the Bulgarian national radio.

The investment of the National company “Railway infrastructure” is over 350 thousand leva. Minister Mutafchiev added, that the railway station of Pazardzhik will be repaired by the end of 2009. He also reminded that for the period 2005-2009 147 railway stations were renovated.

40 secondhand sleeping wagons from Germany will soon be put to use. They’ve been repaired in 1995 and will now be re-equiped. The Bulgarian railways also expect 30 new wagons from Turkey.
