Kalina Krumova – the youngest member of parliament in the new parliament

This Tuesday, the 41st National assembly gathers on their first meeting. We haven’t had a parliament with so many fresh faces in a long time. The youngest member of parliament was recently introduced by Stoyan Georgiev from bTV.

Kalina Krumova (24 y. old) will be the youngest national representative. She is also among the tallest ones. Kalina was a journalist in the TV “Skat”, now a member of parliament from “Ataka”. She considers her experience from television to be adequate to solve the problems of society.

“I am motivated by the fact that young people in Bulgaria are seemingly uninterested in politics. There are very few of us that would take responsibility willingly. I think I could serve as a very good example of people my age, and show them that not all is lost,” explained she.
