Kalfin met Tonny Blinken

During the second day of his official visit in the US, the vice-prime minister and minister of foreign affairs Ivailo Kalfin met with the councillor for national security of the vice-president of the US, Tonny Blinken. The meeting took place in the Council for national security in Washington. This was the first meeting with a foreign guest for Tonny Blinken after he took this post.

Some of the topics of their discussion included the issues of the Western Balkans, the Black Sea region, the energy safety and the damages from the financial and economical crisis.

Tonny Blinken affirmed the value of the friendship and partnership between USA and Bulgaria.
