Japan is interested in Bulgarian agriculture and energy sector

Japan in interested in investing in Bulgarian agriculture and energy sector. This became clear after a meeting in Sofia between the Economy Minister Petar Dimitrov and the vice-chairman of the Japanese council for International exchange Akito Naito and the leaded by him delegation, which includes representatives of the biggest firms and corporations in the chemical industry, banks and high technology companies, the Japanese electricity company ‘Tokyo Electricpower Company’.

The guests were interested in the price of Bulgarian labour force. The reflection of the world financial crisis on Bulgarian economy has also been discussed.

‘Japan sees Bulgaria as a gate to the European Union and so all firms and corporations are interested in investing and cooperating with your country’, said Akito Naito.
