IMF and EBRD: Bulgaria will overcome the crisis more easily than Romania

Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) think that Bulgaria will be able to withstand the crisis more easily than Romania.

According to Huan Fernandes Ansola, representative for Bulgaria and Romania in the International Monetary Fund, the advantage of Bulgaria is the accumulated reserve. Romania, however, will have to face the difficulties of cutting down expenses.

In other words, while Romania spent more than it produced, Bulgarians preferred to save their hard earned money for worse days, comments the newspaper.
