Haskovo as a strategic town

How to turn Southern Bulgaria and Northern Greece to an attractive destination for foreign tourists was discussed today in a regional administration meeting by the participants of the “Open-air Horizons – journalists and support of the tourism” project. Only 3% of the foreigners, which had been to the both of the countries, then visited the town of Haskovo in 2006. A route “Thrace” (Trakia) between Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey is being prepared said the regional governor Rayna Yovcheva.
