Golden Tulip enters the golf tourism business

The Swiss-Bulgarian company Royal Bulgarian signed a contract that transferred the ownership rights of a new tourism complex near Balchik to Tulip Hospitality Group.

The resort Royal Tulip Golf, Spa & Wellness Resort will be part of the golf tourism core of North-Eastern Europe “Light House Golf Resort”.

This is the first step of the company towards the golf tourism sector. Golden Tulip seeks to broaden it’s scope, despite the shrinking market for tourism activities worldwide.

The complex has to be finished before April and includes a golf field with 18 holes, a hotel with 189 rooms, a conference center, spa center, a clinic, fitness salon, tennis court, bar, shops and beach club. Project such as this will ensure Bulgaria’s place as a serious destination for golf fans.
