The star of Bulgarian football Dimitar Berbatov is getting married in the spring of 2009. The lucky girl – pretty Helena – engaged the famous football player secretly in December. Berbatov said he didn’t like his personal life to be exposed so no one understood about his engagement. But he can’t hide his wedding.

In spite of the fact that Berbatov said he wanted to marry financially independent woman, he has obviously decided to be with Helena, currently living in his apartment in Sofia, driving his black Mercedes and not throwing out the rubbish – Dimitar’s father Ivan comes all the way from Blagoevgrad to do that for her. The beauty was ashamed to carry it to the containers.

Berbatov’s mother – Margarita – has the decisive word about her future daughter-in-law. It’s been claimed that she has extreme powers over her son and her opinion about women is very significant for him. Margarita liked Helena, so she said ‘Yes’.

‘I have about 4-5 active football years ahead. Now I’m interested in this sport, amusement will come later. I’ll retire from football mostly at 35 years’, said Berbatov.
