CSKA defeats Steaua

CSKA achieved an important victory with 2:1 over the ex-European champion Steaua FC in a control game between the two teams in Austria. The goals of CSKA came in the 12th minute by Rui Miguel and the 57th minute by the captain Kiril Kotev. The Romanian team returned one goal in the 89th minute – the work of the reserve player Sudru.

The footballers of Lubo Penev were not only victorious – they were top notch throughout the game, very agile all around and could score even more goals, if they had more luck.

The Romanian team also wasted several opportunities for goals, but all of them came after the 80th minute, after the chief trainers had changed players from the main team with reserves.
