Bulgarian signatures will fly in space

The astronomy observatory in Varna will join the initiative “Space day”. This was announced by the director of the planetarium in Varna Ivan Ivanov. He added that this is a continuation of another idea, which began last year – it involved the sending of letters to the three American astronauts that landed on the Moon first.

“The American embasy helped us join the American tradition called “Space Day”. It’s organized by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and a company that constructs rockets and planes”, said Ivanov.

“There are many events involved in this program, including the popularizing of astronomy and knowledge of space among students”, added he.
