Bulgarian Railways upgrade costs 1 milliard

More than a milliard BGL are required for an upgrade of Bulgarian Railways trains and that will be only for a 60% of them.

This was said by the Minister of Transport Petar Mutafchiev, who was a guest of honor at the “Todor Kableshkov” High school of Transport.

That amount of money cannot be taken from the budget surplus, because this will be taken up as a state support. The contract between the state and the Bulgarian State Railways will be for about 15 years added Mutafchief.

According to him, 80 millions BGL can be taken from the budget surplus for the railways and the public services at all.
