Bulgaria is the European Union member with the biggest growth of construction works in February 2009, according to the data from the previous month published on the website expert.bg.

The data was initially presented by the European statistics institute Eurostat.

Bulgaria, Germany, Slovenia and three other EU members experienced growth in construction in February.

Romania, Spain and the Czech Republic experience a significant decrease of 8.6%.

The registered decrease on an annual basis in the EU is 11.2%.
