Bulgaria will protest with entire Europe

Today the European protest ‘Freedom not Fear’ will take place in almost every European capital (and 6 capitals outside the continent), including Sofia, at 11:00 a.m. This way Europeans will stand against the mass monitoring, eavesdropping and collecting data of any kind, which are part of the changes the European Parliament is trying to put into operation by the Torpedo Amendments, appointed directly against freedom in the Internet.

The Bulgarian procession will start at the Parliament and will eventually reach the building of the European commission at ‘Moskovska’ street.

The protest in Sofia will include a symbolical burying of the Constitution (since the stipulated changes are in total antinomy with it), the Tree of shame, where the presents at the protest will hang up their old computer mice and keyboards, and the Tree of sorrow, where wreaths and the Constitution’s necrology will be laid.
