Bulgaria will be well even without the IMF

Bulgaria isn’t struck so bad by the crisis and there is no need to change drastically the course of the current macroeconomic politics. This was stated by the experts of the Vienna institute for international economic analysis.

“Bulgaria isn’t seeing the worst of the crisis like some other European crisis, so the country will be alright with the current macroeconomic politics”, said Gabor Hunja from the Vienna institute for international economic analysis in an interview for Julia Damyanova from Deutsche Welle. The economist was asked about the most pressing issues for the new government of the country.

“The shrinking of economics isn’t so great. It seems that the fiscal support so far helped well enough, so I see no reason for changes of the current macroeconomic politics”, stated Gabor Hunja.
