Bulgaria out of the finals of the World league in Belgrad

The Bulgarian volleyball team lost all chances to qualify for the finals of the World league in Belgrad. The team of the coach Silvano Prandi lost from Russia with 0:3 games (21:25, 27:29, 24:26) in the first game of the final, 6th round of the “C” group of the tournament.

They played in front of nearly seven thousand fans of the “Congress” hall of the DKS in Varna. Thus, the Bulgarian team remains third in the rankings with 15 points. Russia is second with 20 points.

The organization of the game was excellent. Both teams were presented in NBA style before the beginning of the game, with lots of music and lights show. Interestingly, there was a large group of Russian tourists supporting “Sbornaya” in the hall.

The Bulgarian coach from Italy Silvano Prandi used the captain of the team Plamen Konstantinov for the first time in the World league so far. His colleague Daniele Banolli used the very best of his team.
