BSP and GERB – almost equally liked

The people that intend to vote in the next parliamentary elections are 290 000 less than last month, announced the newspaper “Standard”.

The newspaper based it’s article on the national inquiry by BBSS Gallup International. According to the inquiry, the prime political power in the country right now still remains GERB.

Almost every third person believes in the party of Boiko Borisov – 30%. Only 22% of them are sure that they will vote in 2009, however. The distance between GERB and the socialists of BSP has been lowered to 3% – the socialists have a following of 19%.

The percentage of people willing to vote for BSP in the capital Sofia is only 3%, however. The potential of GERB there is greater to that of the socialists. The third major political power is DPS.
