Minister Petar Dimitrov conducted an official meeting with the management of the brazilian company CSN, which shows serious interest to invest in “Kremikovtzi”.

The company’s headquarters are in SГЈo Paulo, and is among the leading companies dealing with steel in Brazil. CSN mostly deals with metallurgy, but has also expanded into construction and mining branches, informs the ministry of economics and energetics.

The negotiations were conducted with the chief executive director of CSN Mr. Benjamin Steinbruch, who is also the vice-premier of the Mercantile-industrial chamber of SГЈo Paulo. During the negotiations between minister Dimitrov and Mr. Steinbruch, a direct video conference connection was provided for the current operative executives of “Kremikovtzi” AD and the assignee in bankruptcy Tsvetan Bankov.

The management of the brazilian company was well informed of the current technical level of the factory. The formation an expert working group from the brazilian company was decided on the meeting. The group will visit “Kremikovtzi” AD after a week.
