The mayor of Sofia Boiko Borisov and the head architect Petar Dikov were among the founders of the Worldwide city network in Paris, announced from the press center of GERB. The idea belongs to La Defense from Paris, and for now unites 16 cities from all over the world.

Among the founders are also London city, Beijing, Amsterdam, Seville, Moscow, SГЈo Paulo, Montreal, Tokio and others. The mayor of Sofia Boiko Borisov was chosen to be a member of the council of directors of the organizations, among three other mayors – the representatives from Paris, Beijing and Montreal.
