BBR gives 100 million leva for the crediting of farmers

The Bulgarian bank for development (BBR) will give 100 million leva for the financing of farmers.

The funding is provided in the form of single-purpose credit lines from the business banks in Bulgaria. The maximum amount a single credit line from one bank can’t surpass 25 million leva.

So far, 12 Bulgarian banks expressed interest to receive single-purpose credit lines. Eight of them already signed contracts to provide credit lines. One of them is ProCredit Bank, which recently announced it’s conditions for single-purpose crediting of farmers.

The total amount of funds provided from contracts with business banks is 33 million leva.
