Another 60 streets in Sofia added to the “blue zone”

“Another 60 streets in the center of Sofia will be added to the zone for short-term paid parking”, said Marcello Dokovski – co-manager of the Center of urban mobility.

“With the inclusion of these streets, the entire “center” zone will be under the regime of short-term paid parkings”, added he.

Currently the streets are bein prepared and considered before their final proposition for inclusion in the “blue zone”.

When they are added, the “blue zone” will be situated between “Opalchenska” str., “Slivnitsa” blvd., “General Danail Nikolaev” blvd., “Evlogi Georgiev” blvd., “Bulgaria” blvd., “Pencho Slaveikov” blvd., “General Totleben” blvd., “General M.D. Skobelev” blvd.

The “Center for urban mobility” will not propose the triangle between “V. Levski” blvd. – “Iskar” str. – “General D. Nikolaev” blvd for the blue zone, because it would complicate the traffic near “Stochna gara” (Stock station).
