A good start for the tourism season in Triavna

According to the mayor of the municipality Dragomir Nikolov, the culture tourism is developing very well, because Triavna is a city with rich historical heritage. Tourists usually visit the church “St. Archangel Mikhail”, the famous “Daskalova kashta” (Teacher’s house), “Staroto shkolo” (the Old school).

Ecology tourism is also headed in a good direction. The region has many ecopaths – towards Bojentsi, Burzovets and Krustets, where the remnants of St. Ioan Rilski are buried. People visit these places with their families or in massive groups, and later return to Triavna. A large part of the Park “Bulgarka” is located in the municipality territory. Tourists can also pass through the park alleys on bicycles.

Demiertsi is a village with lots of investments in the villa zone. The houses use reserves of purified rain water for the needs of tourists and solar power as an energy source.
