The European Union will provide Bulgaria with nearly 11 billion euro for operative programs and programs for countryside development until 2013.

The financial help was announced by Krastina Galova, head of the Expert group for the eurofunds of the political party GERB, during a conference in Pleven about “European funds – problems and possibilities of dealing with them”.

This financial resource would help the stabilization of the economics of the country, but for now Bulgaria is at the very start of the absorption of these funds, concluded Galova.

The discussion was organized by initiative of GERB, and members of the party from all across the country participated.
